Local area description

The Brisbane CBD is the hub of Brisbane’s financial institutions and retail giants, many of which cluster around the open-air Queen Street Mall. The city centre is also filled with green spaces, including Roma Street Parkland and the Brisbane City Botanic Gardens.

The Central train station is about 850 metres away and has regular train services to suburbs west and south of the city centre. The Riverside Ferry Terminal is about 550 metres away and has regular ferries around the city. There are also numerous bus stops along Adelaide Street and Queen Street.

Ride sharing apps are a safe and easy way to get around, especially late at night when public transport services are less frequent. Prices are about two-thirds of a taxi, but may surge during bad weather or public events.
