South Yarra is an affluent suburb along the Yarra River about 15 minutes from the Melbourne CBD. Outdoor leisure centres around the riverside parks and Royal Botanic Gardens, while shopping and dining typically take place at the bars, restaurants and retailers along Chapel Street and Toorak Road.

Public transport
South Yarra Station is about 550 metres away and has regular trains to the CBD in about six minutes. The Toorak Rd/Chapel St tram stop is about 210 metres away and has regular services to the Melbourne CBD in around 35 minutes with a line change.
