Just beyond Lewisham’s borders lie many more attractions. Leichardt’s famous Italian restaurants are a short stroll to the north, Summer Hill’s cafes lie to the west, while the Portuguese eateries of Petersham’s Little Lisbon are just to the east. Petersham Oval provides a picturesque place to relax and will forever be famous as the place where Don Bradman scored his very first club runs.
